Going for a hike along the White Pine Scenic Drive will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; at Beaver Ponds you can spot John Point. This site,       the Clearwater Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. If the weather is fine here at Beaver Ponds, you can go for a hike along the White Pine National Recreation Trail, and you can stay the night at Heyburn State Park. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of St. Maries River in a kayak, and if you've had enough of Beaver Ponds, Benewah Lake is nearby. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Clearwater Mountains, not enough time.
