Go to Beaver Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Bitterroot Range. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Siah Lake. There's so much to do here at Beaver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fort Lolo Hot Springs is a great location for that. you can take a hike along the Sally Ridge Trail. Lakes are good; Rudd-Moore Lakes is a lake that's in close proximity to Beaver Lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Beaver Lake while night lows are ordinarily
in the 40's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Beaver Lake during the wintertime commonly plunge into the 10's.

 | 17 miles away I venture up to Tag Alder every year. It is getting more and more difficult to get up there because of the new growth of trees from the fires of 2000. Once there it is beautiful lake. Another half hour hike up and you will be at the summit of the mountain. There is a nice camp area on North shore.
