There are some delightful whitewater spots on Pack River, and Schweitzer is a very popular ski area around here. This is a popular spot for folks from Coeur d'Alene. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Beaver Lake. There is a wonderful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Beaver Lake called the Grouse Mountain       Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Kootenai River Inn Casino & Spa is a pleasant choice. At Beaver Lake you don’t see much rainfall; through November this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Beaver Lake. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 30's, and night lows in the 20's for Beaver Lake. Dennick Lake                  is a glorious lake close to Beaver Lake, and getting to Cone Creek from Beaver Lake is uncomplicated. Going for a hike on the Kelly Pass Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Lakes? Sure, Sand Lake is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANDPOINT, NORTH. There's so much to do here at Beaver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Blue Lake RV Park is a great spot for that. This lake is so wonderful.
