Beaver Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Dennick Lake is a brilliant lake next to Beaver Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Pack River offers some splendid whitewater. Not much precipitation falls here at Beaver Lake; most of the rain falls throughout November, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Deep Creek Campground is always a nice experience; you'll meet a lot of people from Coeur d'Alene

This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Beaver Lake without first going for a hike along the Grouse Mountain Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Schweitzer. Through the summertime months highs here at Beaver Lake reach the 80's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Beaver Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in | |

the 20's. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Beaver Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANDPOINT NORTH, and there are glorious places to look at along the Upper North Fork Grouse Creek
Trail.
Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino is a glorious place to get some rest, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Pack River. If you came to camp Blue Lake RV Park is a nice site to do that, and Cone Creek
is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting.
There's great hiking along the Kelly Pass Trail, and the summit of Sand Mountain can be made out from Beaver Lake.
