The beauty of Bear Pete Lake attracts many people from all around. If only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great earth it would be. A good close by hotel is Western Mountain Lodge, and going for a hike on the Broken Leg Trail is always a great adventure. Bear Pete Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Lava Butte Trail, and camping at Burgdorf Campground is always

| | a tremendous experience. Go for a hike on the Crestline Trail, and Salmon River is a nice whitewater spot nearby. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Salmon River Mountains. A splendid place to camp here at Bear Pete Lake is Upper Payette Campground, and it's a wonderful idea to stop by South Fork Threemile Creek.

the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. At Bear Pete Lake all through the summer highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Bear Pete Lake.
