It's always fun to stop by Bear Pete Lake. South Fork Threemile Creek flows through this vicinity. There's so much to do here at Bear Pete Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Payette Campground is a perfect spot for that. So much exciting stuff to do here at Bear Pete Lake, too fine to be true. Summertime at Bear Pete Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. | | wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Bear Pete Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights.
Bear Pete Lake is generally a quite dried up spot; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Have a good hiking adventure along the Lava Butte Trail, and Salmon River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. Bear Pete Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains.

You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bear Pete Lake has to offer, you can camp at Burgdorf Campground.
