There's so much to do here at Bear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shiefer Campground is a pleasant spot for that, and since you're       here you can take a hike along the South Fork Sheep Creek Trail. This place, Bear Lake, it completely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bear Lake has to offer, you can camp at Chinook Campground, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Indian Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Camp Creek Cutoff Trail is a good hiking trail near Bear Lake, and a pleasant journey to                  Little Pony Meadows is a delightful way to spend an afternoon. Bear Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while July is mostly the driest month. All through the warm days of summer at Bear Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Bear Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's.
