What a nice lake Bear Lake is. Around Bear Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Bear Lake. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Bear Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Western Mountain Lodge,

| | and if you came for an overnight stay California Creek Bar Campground is a good spot to camp.
Having a pleasant time in the Clearwater Mountains is trouble-free. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Bear Lake is fine fun, Burgdorf Campground is a fine local campground, and there's tremendous hiking along the Reed Bar Trail. Bear Lake is a beautiful lake in the Clearwater Mountains.

Mountains has to offer. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bear Lake; Crestline Trail is a good local trail; paddling on Secesh River is so much fun. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Dried Meat Rapids, and get wet
paddling on Salmon River. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Bear Lake. Good hiking is available along the Broken Leg Trail, and don't forget to take a pleasant little spree to Bear Creek.
