    What a nice lake Bear Lake is. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Bear Lake. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Bear Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Teton Mountain View Lodge, and you can go for a hike on the West Boundary Trail. From a rainfall point of view Bear Lake is a pretty typical place; the month with most of the snow is January while July is generally  
   the driest month.
Everybody loves Bear Meadow, and nice hiking is available along the De Coster Trail. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Bear Lake. If you need a place to stay Island Park Village Resort is a great choice, and camping at Bear Gulch Campground is always a brilliant experience. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Robinson Creek, and do take a look at Cub Lake, it's a
 
               charming lake.
Don't leave Bear Lake without first going for a hike along the Boundary Creek Trail; camping is available at Cave Falls Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Why not go to nearby Rising Creek if you're here at Bear Lake, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Grand Targhee. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Falls River.
