    If you are in this part of Idaho make sure to pay a visit to Bear Lake. Bear Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Squirrel Creek Guest Ranch and Inn is a splendid place to camp nearby; a great close by hotel is Island Park Village Resort. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the West Boundary Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Teton Mountain View Lodge is a good choice.
Why not take
 
   a refreshing hike along the De Coster Trail, and paddling on Robinson Creek is so much fun. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area close to Bear Lake has to offer. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bear Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bear Gulch Campground, and why not take a look at nearby Rising Creek if you're here at Bear Lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Bear Lake is close to the national  
               average; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
All through the summer highs here at Bear Lake get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Bear Lake sink into the 0's. Soar down the rapids of Falls River in a kayak; why not head up to Grand Targhee and strap some skis to your feet. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bear Lake; Boundary Creek Trail is a good local trail, and don’t forget to check out Bear Meadow while you're here at Bear Lake.
