A delightful vista of gorgeous Watson Peak is available from Bear Lake, and needless to say Bear Lake Creek is a lovely stream that is worth a visit. You'll hit upon a wonderful lake called Swimm Lake near Bear Lake, and there are some great whitewater spots on Salmon River. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Bear Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures       are in the 30's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Bear Lake dip into the-10's. Really fine skiing awaits you at Sun Valley, and if you came to camp Lower O'Brien Campground is a pleasant place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Mountain Home Canyon is always fun; close by you locate the Yellow Belly Trail which is a good hiking trail. Be careful coming to Bear Lake,                  you might not ever want to go back home again. Going for a hike on the Bull Moose Trail is always a great adventure. There's so much to do here at Bear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Marshall Creek Campground is a good location for that.
