Bayhorse Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains. That right there is lots of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Salmon River Mountains has it all. Be careful coming to the Salmon River Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. After a long day outdoors Wildflower by ResortQuest is a great site to spend a night or two, and Buster Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake       is so wonderful. A glorious location in the neighborhood of Bayhorse Lake is Spruce Gulch, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River - Yankee Fork. While you're here at Bayhorse Lake, you could also stop by delightful Little Bayhorse Lake; there's always Buster Lake Dam to stop by close to Bayhorse Lake. Go for a hike on the Twin Buttes Trail, and get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Salmon                  River. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Bayhorse Campground is a nice local campground; Mill Creek Campground is a nice campground nearby. Summer at Bayhorse Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Bayhorse Lake through the wintertime typically drop into the-10's.
