Battle Lake

If you came to camp Hoodoo Lake Campground is a good spot to do that, and Upper Bear Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. On close by Moose Creek you locate a grade III-IV part of whitewater; the Dolph Creek to Selway River section is 22 miles long. This part of Moose Creek is proposed for whitewater boaters of medium practice. On Big Sand Creek you encounter the nearby Swamp Creek Trail to White Sand Creek sector. This is a grade V, 4-mile-long stretch
of whitewater. This stretch of Big Sand Creek is a tough stretch for paddling. Of course, paddling is fun but dangerous; check the latest conditions before heading out.
