Battle Creek Lakes gets very little rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Battle Creek, and there's whitewater on Owyhee River - East Fork for all you adrenaline junkies.
