So many cool things to do at Bass Lakes, so little time. Not much rain falls here at Bass Lakes; the month with most of the snow is December; August is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Bremner Trail, and a delightful location to camp here at Bass Lakes is Skeleton Campground. Summertime at Bass Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends       down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and night lows throughout the winter for Bass Lakes tend to be in the 0's. Going for a hike on the Yuba River Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort since you're here. Bass Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Sawtooth Range. From Bass Lakes you obtain a tremendous sight of Ross Peak, and great hiking                  is available along the Yellow Belly Trail. All year is a great time in the Sawtooth Range if you have a thing about the outdoors.
