During the summer here at Bass Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bass Lake. Get soaked paddling on Boundary Creek, and if you came to camp Blue Lake RV Park is a tremendous location to do that. Not much precipitation falls here at Bass Lake; the month of November is the       wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is July. On a fine day at Bass Lake you can take a hike along the Hall Mountain Trail. This place, Bass Lake, it just has so much outdoors exciting stuff. The summit of Stein Mountain can be distinguished from Bass Lake; the Danquist Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. Bass Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Brush Lake Campground is a good local campground, and nearby you find the Hellroaring                  Ridge Trail which is a nice hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Smith Creek, and a great nearby hotel is Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino.
