The Hall Mountain Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Bass Lake, and Idyl Acres RV Trailer Park is a glorious local campground. So many entertaining things in close proximity to Bass Lake, simply mind-boggling. There is a wonderful hiking trail next to Bass Lake called the Danquist Trail, and why not camp at Brush Lake Campground while you're here at Bass Lake. You get a glorious sight of Stein Mountain from Bass Lake,       and you can run the rapids of Boundary Creek. Not much rainfall falls here at Bass Lake; the month with most of the rain is November, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino is a brilliant place to get some rest, and there's whitewater on Smith Creek for all you thrill seekers. All through the days of summer here at Bass Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. During the moonlight                  hours it's commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Bass Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. Going for a hike on the Hellroaring Ridge Trail is always a magnificent adventure.
