The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting stuff to do in the Wallowa Mountains. Take a little journey to Sheep Creek while you're here at Barton Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Ontario Super 8 Motel. Around Barton Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; the month with most of the snow is January; July meanwhile is the driest month.       Camping at Monroe Creek Campgorund is always a nice experience; Barton Dam is not far at all from Barton Reservoir. Through the summer months at Barton Reservoir highs are commonly in the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Barton Reservoir drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
