This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Tindall Trail is splendid fun, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Sheep Creek. The warmest time of the year at Barinaga Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. High temperatures       during the winter are normally in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Barinaga Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. Barinaga Lake is usually a reasonably arid place; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July.
