If you like lakes and you're in this part of Idaho you can check out Baldy Lake. That right there is a lot of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Wallowa Mountains has it all. There is a delightful hiking trail right next door to Baldy Lake called the Heavens Gate Trail, and Little Salmon River is a great whitewater spot nearby. On a great day at Baldy Lake you can take a hike along the Old Boise Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Seven Devils Campground

| | is a great spot to camp. Be careful coming to the Wallowa Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Going for a hike on the Deep Creek Trail is always a nice adventure; dry warm beds await you at Western Mountain Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Baldy Lake is Snake River, and Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a glorious place to get some rest. rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here; July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things close to Baldy Lake. You could also explore Appendix Lake if you're
here at Baldy Lake; it's nearby, and Mount Belial is clearly visible from Baldy Lake. Baldy Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wallowa Mountains. Windy Saddle Campground is a good campground here, and the charming Seven Devils Mountains
is here. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs frequently are in the 90's at Baldy Lake while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Baldy Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's.
