The vista of Mount Belial from Baldy Lake is lovely, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Snake River. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Mccall-The Hunt Lodge, Id is a good choice. Go for a hike on the Heavens Gate Trail, and Triangle Lake is a wonderful lake nearby. Around Baldy Lake you don’t get       a lot of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Why not camp at Seven Devils Campground since you're here at Baldy Lake, and great hiking is available along the Deep Creek Trail. Baldy Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wallowa Mountains. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in close proximity to Baldy Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western                  Salmon Rapids Lodge; this region is dominated by the Seven Devils Mountains. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Wallowa Mountains has to offer. Going for a hike on the Old Boise Trail is always a great adventure. Lakes? Sure, Quad Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Windy Saddle Campground is a nice local campground; whitewater paddling is glorious on Little Salmon River. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Baldy Lake get into the 90's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's.
