Baldy Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. A great close by hotel is Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge, and a lake close by is Upper Cannon Lake. Baldy Lake gets very little precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is July. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Wallowa Mountains, not enough time. A brilliant place to camp here at Baldy Lake is Windy Saddle Campground, and there

| | are brilliant places to look at along the Old Boise Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Whitetail Club and Resort is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. You can run the rapids of Little Salmon River right next door to Baldy Lake, and the Seven Devils Mountains makes the scenery here great. stuff to do here at Baldy Lake. Don't leave Baldy Lake without first going for a hike along the Deep Creek Trail, and Baldy Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Seven Devils Campground is a great local campground. For
the duration of the summertime months highs here at Baldy Lake reach the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 40's, and night lows at Baldy Lake through the winter
frequently descend into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Baldy Lake you can see Mount Belial; Gem Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Wallowa Mountains. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Snake River; you can go for a hike on the Heavens Gate Trail.
