Go to Baldy Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Man, is there heaps of cool things to do in the Wallowa Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Triangle Lake is next to Baldy Lake; going for a hike on the Old Boise Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Through the summer here at Baldy Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with

| | lows in the 20's to Baldy Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Wallowa Mountains. There are good places to discover along the Heavens Gate Trail, and a fine spot to camp here at Baldy Lake is Seven Devils Campground. Paddling on Snake River is so much fun; camping is available at Windy Saddle Campground. Not much rainfall falls here at Baldy Lake; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month | |

with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Quad Lake if you're here at Baldy Lake; it's close by, and a great view of delightful Mount Belial is available. This lake is so wonderful.
A delightful nearby hotel is Whitetail Club and Resort. You just have to fancy the Wallowa Mountains. Don't leave Baldy Lake without first going for a hike along the Deep Creek Trail; the major highlight in the region is the Seven
Devils Mountains. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. If you need a site to stay Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a pleasant choice, and get dripping wet paddling on Little Salmon River.
