You just must like Bald Mountain Reservoir. Don't leave Bald Mountain Reservoir without first paying a visit to Dukes V Spring, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Owyhee River. A brilliant place to pop by close to Bald Mountain Reservoir is Bald Mountain Canyon, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Grasshopper       Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Bald Mountain Reservoir; most of the rain falls during November; July is when it's the driest. Owyhee River - South Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Forty-Four Trail. All through the warm days of summer at Bald Mountain Reservoir highs are usually in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Through the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and after the                  sun is down during the winter temperatures at Bald Mountain Reservoir descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
