It is very arid here at Baker Lake generally; most of the snow falls through December, and the driest of the months is July. The snow is great at Sun Valley; swing by Boulder Chain Lakes Creek it's a glorious site to stop at. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Baker Lake has to offer, you can camp at       Holman Creek Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Salmon River offers some fine whitewater. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Baker Lake. There's so much to do here at Baker Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Prairie Campground is a nice spot for that, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River - Yankee Fork. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so                  wonderful. Spring Basin is a wonderful site, and a lake close by is Hatchet Lake. If you need a spot to stay SnowRun by ResortQuest is a delightful choice, and no need to travel far to visit attention-grabbing stuff like Castle Peak. Summertime at Baker Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 30's.
