Bacon Lake is a nice lake to visit. All through the long summer days here at Bacon Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Bacon Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. If you're here at Bacon Lake, you could explore Bean Creek, and there are great places to discover along the Cedar Creek Stock Driveway. The yearly precipitation here

This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Spruce Tree Campground is a splendid site to camp, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend St. Joe River. Having a great time at Bacon Lake is easy. There's whitewater on Clearwater River - North Fork for all you adrenaline kick people. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bitterroot Range. From Bacon Lake you obtain a perfect sight of Bacon Peak; Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a good location to get some rest.
