A visit to Avondale Lake is always a good idea. There's so much to do here at Avondale Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Idaho Panhandle National Forests: Coeur d'Alene - Kaniksu - and St. Joe National Forests is a splendid spot for that; one of the best things about this spot is its proximity to Honeysuckle Beach. So many exciting things to do at Avondale Lake, so little time. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Coeur d'Alene come to Avondale

From a rain point of view Avondale Lake is a relatively typical location; December is when you get the most snow here, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are pleasant; Alpine Lake is a lake that's near Avondale Lake, and perfect water scenery is available at Hayden Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Avondale Lake. Coeur D' Alene KOA
| This is a beautiful park that has terraced camping pads nestled in the side of a foothill on wolf bay. The spots are pretty tight and we barely had room to park our Suburban in our site (but we were one of the highest ones and those are smaller). They do have pull thrus as well. The pool wasn't huge but was adequate and not too crowded. They do have two hot tubs as well next to the pool. The 18 hole golf course leaves quite a bit to be desired. They charge $1.00 per person to play but it's in very sad condition and not worth even a buck in my opinion to play. My kids (7 and 2) however had fun just hitting the ball around.... |
