Around Avery Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You'll come across a beautiful lake called Bower Reservoir near Avery Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Battle Creek.
