This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Teton River, and there's some flowing water nearby, Rattlesnake Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here. If you need a site to stay Island Park Village Resort is a good choice. Ashton Reservoir is pretty dried out usually; throughout the month of June you       get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. So much fun stuff to do at Ashton Reservoir, so little time. You might want to pay a visit to Box Canyon while you're here at Ashton Reservoir, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Carlton Cutoff Trail. Whitewater paddling is good on Henrys Fork, and Harriman State Park is a perfect local campground. Jessen's RV and Bed and Breakfast is a good campground                  nearby, and after a long day outdoors GuestHouse Henrys Fork Inn is a splendid site to spend a night or two. At Ashton Reservoir through the summer months highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, frequently in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Ashton Reservoir.
