Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Sawtooth Range. Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do in the vicinity of Arrowhead Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River, and if you came to camp Grandjean Campground is a tremendous place to do that. Arrowhead Lake gets a       common amount of annual rain; January is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest month is July. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more fun stuff to do in the Sawtooth Range. Don't miss out on a visit to Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument if you're here at Arrowhead Lake; the panorama of Blacknose Mountain is picturesque. Summer at Arrowhead Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's.                  The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Arrowhead Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Hole is relatively close to Arrowhead Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Yuba River Trail. There are good sites to look at along the Black Warrior Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Arrowhead Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Powerplant Campground is a great site for that. Arrowhead Lake is located in the Sawtooth Range. This is a splendid vicinity for people who like lakes.
