The Seven Devils Mountains here at Appendix Lake makes the scenery here tremendous. Do go to Gem Lake in the vicinity of Appendix Lake, it's a striking lake, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a tremendous choice. There's whitewater on Little Salmon River for all you adrenaline rush seekers;

| | a splendid location to camp here at Appendix Lake is Windy Saddle Campground. Having a great time in the Wallowa Mountains is uncomplicated. Appendix Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Seven Devils Campground is a great local campground, and do take a hike on the Old Boise Trail. Summertime highs at Appendix Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's; the night is somewhat cooler of course, usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's | |

while the cold winter nights at Appendix Lake are in the 20's. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Wallowa Mountains has to offer. A pretty lake like Rock Island Lake near Appendix Lake is a delightful
location to take a look at, and on a wonderful day you obtain a great panorama of Tower of Babel from Appendix Lake. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Appendix Lake has it all. Whitewater paddling is not for
everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Snake River, and going for a hike along the Deep Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Appendix Lake is pretty dried out typically; all through the month of
May you get the most rain around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Heavens Gate Trail; Whitetail Club and Resort is a nice place to get some rest.
