So much amusing stuff in the Bitterroot Range, just striking. There's nice hiking along the Alpine Trail, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Baymont Inn & Suites Kellogg. An average amount of rainfall falls at Antelope Lake; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that snows the most, and July is when it's the driest. Antelope Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bitterroot       Range. This lake is so wonderful. Silver Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand, and the Blacktail Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. Antelope Mountain is clearly visible from Antelope Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Coeur d'Alene River National Recreation Trail. A magnificent site to check out close to Antelope Lake is McQuade Gulch; get yourself into a kayak and hit Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork. This is no location                  for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you came for an overnight stay Huckleberry Tent and Breakfast is a great location to camp, and if you come at the right time of year, Coeur d'Alene River offers some wonderful whitewater. And that's not all you can do here in the Bitterroot Range. Visit Mosquito Creek while you're here at Antelope Lake; Lightning Creek Trailer Park is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the summer at Antelope Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's.
