This lake is located in the wonderful Clearwater Mountains. Near Andys Lakes you find the Elk Creek Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Lochsa River. At Andys Lakes during the summertime months highs are in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Andys Lakes temperatures       fall to the 10's. Andys Lakes gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; through January this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Clearwater Mountains, too fine to be true. And that's not all you can do here at Andys Lakes. Fire Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by; the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. A fine location                  to camp here at Andys Lakes is Rackliff Campground, and going for a hike on the Mule Creek Trail is always a delightful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Knife Edge Campground is always a nice experience, and Selway River is a fine whitewater spot nearby. Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do in the Clearwater Mountains.
