    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Idaho you can check out Andys Lakes. Nearby lakes? Sure, Coolwater Lake is near Andys Lakes; Idaho Point is a tremendous location to explore while in the neighborhood. What a place this is for outdoors folks. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Fire Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and nearby you find the Elk Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail. Andys Lakes is one of the lakes here in the  
   Clearwater Mountains.
The top of Andys Hump is easily observed from Andys Lakes, and there's whitewater on Selway River for all you adrenaline junkies. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Clearwater Mountains. There's so much to do here at Andys Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Rackliff Campground is a brilliant location for that; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Lochsa River.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. The East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Andys Lakes. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Andys Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Knife Edge Campground.
So many entertaining things in the Clearwater Mountains, just extraordinary. Going for a hike on the Mule Creek Trail is always a fine adventure. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Andys Lakes; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Andys Lakes are in the 10's. Andys Lakes is a good site of common precipitation; through the month of January you get the most snow around here; July on the other hand is the driest.
