There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Andys Lakes. There is a perfect hiking trail close to Andys Lakes called the Mule Creek Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Clearwater Mountains. Andys Lakes is a good location of normal rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while July is frequently the driest month. Through the warmest time of       the year at Andys Lakes temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Andys Lakes. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Clearwater Mountains. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Lochsa River; the Elk Creek Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling                  on Selway River is so much fun, and you can catch a glimpse of Andys Hump from Andys Lakes. What would a location like Andys Lakes be without interesting nearby features like Idaho Point, and camping is available at Knife Edge Campground.
