For the period of the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 80's at Anderson Ranch Reservoir, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are generally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Anderson Ranch Reservoir temperatures dip to the       10's. This lake is so wonderful. Sleep Inn Mountain Home is a wonderful location to get some rest, and obviously Elk Creek is a lovely stream that is worth going to. Anderson Ranch Reservoir is pretty arid generally; the month with most of the rain is November; July meanwhile is the driest month. Wilson Flat is a good location, and a good location to camp here at Anderson Ranch Reservoir is Little Wilson Creek Campground. This location rocks, just look at                  all the entertaining stuff to do in the neighborhood of Anderson Ranch Reservoir. Nearby lakes? Sure, Little Camas Reservoir is in close proximity to Anderson Ranch Reservoir, and during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Mountain Home for sure. Going for a hike on the Sheep Drive Trail is always a great adventure, and of course, this is a brilliant area for folks who like lakes, Long Tom Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity. After a long day outdoors Best Western Foothills Motor Inn is a fine spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Evans Creek Campground; if you're looking for a brilliant trip, Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument is relatively near.
