All the outdoors exciting things near Amber Lakes will keep you coming back over and over. Soldier Mountain Ski Resort has great slopes and a friendly staff. Murdock Campground is a great local campground, and a lake nearby is Window Lake. During the warm months highs here at Amber Lakes get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 30's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Amber       Lakes dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. At Amber Lakes you don’t see much rain; December is when you get the most snow here; the driest month is July. Really great skiing awaits you at Sun Valley; after a long day outdoors Greyhawk by ResortQuest is a glorious site to spend a night or two. SnowRun by ResortQuest is a great place to get some rest, naturally you could also have a look at Boulder Lakes while you're here; it's not far at all.                  This lake is so wonderful.
