Alturas Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawtooth Range. Alturas Lake is a location that is quite dried up generally; through the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is mostly the driest month. This location, the Sawtooth Range, has so much outdoors amusing things. Lakes are nice; Perkins Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Alturas Lake. There's so much to do here       at Alturas Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Alturas Inlet Campground is a great place for that. Yeah, come here to Alturas Lake for a tremendous time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River, and hey, Gotta ski right? Soldier Mountain Ski Resort is a tremendous spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is tremendous here at Alturas Lake, you can go for a hike along the Bull Moose Trail. You'll need more than a day to                  discover everything Alturas Lake has to offer, you can camp at Smoky Bear Campground. Summertime highs at Alturas Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 30's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's; night lows in the-10's for Alturas Lake.
