     Idaho has many beautiful lakes and Allan Lake is one of them. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Allan Lake. The Big Hole National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Bitterroot Range. A great spot to camp here at Allan Lake is Broken Arrow Resort, and do check out Burrell Lake, it's a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful.  
   From Allan Lake you acquire a pleasant view of Allan Mountain, and camping at Twin Creek Campground is always a wonderful experience.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. It is very dried out here at Allan Lake ordinarily; May is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Good hiking is available along the Ax Park Way, and Frog Pond Lake is a nearby lake that you could
 
               explore.
Very delightful scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Lost Trail; hiking is a popular thing to do around Allan Lake; Divide Trail is a tremendous local trail. For the duration of the summertime, highs mostly are in the 80's at Allan Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's; night lows through the winter for Allan Lake tend to be in the 10's.
