Alice Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawtooth Range. On a glorious day at Alice Lake you can take a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Alice Lake has to offer, you can camp at Smoky Bear Campground. High temperatures at Alice Lake during the summertime are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 30's. For the period of the winter highs are in the       20's with temperatures at Alice Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Not far from Alice Lake, you'll hit upon Twin Lakes which is a pretty lake; there's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Alice Lake is usually a relatively dried up location; December is when you get the most snow here while July is generally the driest month. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Alice Lake. There is                  a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Alice Lake called the Bull Moose Trail, and you can stay the night at Alturas Inlet Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Near Alice Lake you stumble on the Yuba River Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and there are other places here than Alice Lake, for example Bowknot Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Sawtooth Range for a great time. All the outdoors fun things in the Sawtooth Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Gotta ski!
