The beauty of Alice Lake is reason enough to stop by. All the outdoors cool things in the Sawtooth Range will keep you coming back many times. Not much rain falls here at Alice Lake; the month with most of the snow is December; July meanwhile is the driest month. If only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great globe it would be. Stay the night at Alturas Inlet Campground, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Yellow Belly Trail.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Salmon River is a good whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Alice Lake, and Alice Lake is not the only place nearby, Twin Lakes is a nearby lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Alice Lake has to offer, you can camp at Smoky Bear Campground, and going for a hike on the Yuba River Trail is always a great adventure. perfect location to do that; close by you stumble on the Bull Moose Trail which is a great hiking trail.
Alice Lake is located in the Sawtooth Range. The peak of El Capitan can be observed from Alice Lake; if you've had enough
of Alice Lake, Edith Lake is close by. All through the long summer days at Alice Lake highs are regularly in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Alice Lake tend to be in the-10's.
