    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Wallrich Lake. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Wallrich Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. Super 8 Motel - Washington is a brilliant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Fairfield Inn is a pleasant site to spend a night or two; you'll meet a lot of folks from Iowa City here.
Not far from Wallrich Lake, you'll
 
   hit upon Lake Darling which is a stunning lake, and going for a hike on the Kewash Nature Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Having a wonderful time at Wallrich Lake is uncomplicated. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Horseshoe Lake, and a tremendous spot to camp here at Wallrich Lake is Lake Darling State Park. Wallrich Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Camper's Corner is a brilliant local campground,  
               and you can go for a hike on the Sockum Ridge Park Trail.
Indian Creek is a striking stream that is worth visiting, and don't leave Wallrich Lake without first going for a hike along the Jefferson County Park Trail. The warmest time of the year at Wallrich Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Wallrich Lake tend to be in the 0's.
