While you're here at Walden Pond you can take a hike along the Lower Ice Cave Trail, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Ice Cave Hill Trail. The amount of rain that falls at Walden Pond is close to the national average; of all the months in a year       June is the one with the most rain while January is regularly the driest month. There is a nice hiking trail near Walden Pond called the Oneota Drive Recreational Trail. At Walden Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's.
