Viking Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Viking Lake while night lows are frequently in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Viking Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood       you can always pop by nearby Cold Springs, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Clarinda. Viking Lake State Park is a splendid campground nearby, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Red Oak is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. This is a brilliant area for people who like lakes.
