Spend the day on the beach at Kruses Beach if you're here at Upper Gar Lake, and while you're here, you could also take a look at scenic       Lower Gar Lake. At Upper Gar Lake you always meet someone from Spirit Lake; a day at pretty Fillenworth Beach in close proximity to Upper Gar Lake is a brilliant thing to do. Going for a hike on the Barney Peterson Memorial Trail is always a good adventure, and you can stay the night at Arnolds Park City Campground. This lake is so wonderful. You'll find a pretty lake called Minnewashta Lake near Upper Gar Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Village East                  Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Bridges Bay Resort is a great place to get some rest, and an afternoon playing golf at Brooks Golf Course is always a pleasure. Taking a little tour to nearby Cass Bay is a great idea, and you can go for a hike on the Horseshoe Bend Trail. An average amount of rain falls at Upper Gar Lake; the month with most of the rain is June while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Upper Gar Lake.
