     If you came for an overnight stay 7 Ponds Park is a pleasant place to camp, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Burlington. The amount of rain that falls at Twin Ponds is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is commonly July, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Twin Ponds. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. High temperatures  
   throughout the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Twin Ponds dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Man, is there a lot of fun stuff to do near Twin Ponds. Lake Odessa Campground is a magnificent campground nearby.
Do stop at Heaton Lake near Twin Ponds, it's a picturesque lake, and why not a little side visit to Buffalo Slough. A delightful lake like Gates Lake near Twin Ponds is a tremendous place to go to, and if you need a place
 
               to stay AmericInn Monmouth is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. Since you're here at Twin Ponds why not pop by Kingston Bar, and Howard Johnson Burlington is a glorious location to get some rest.
