Beaver Creek is next to Town Lake and is always a diversion to visit; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Savanna IL. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Town Lake. Lakewood Resort is a delightful campground nearby, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Chestnut Mountain is relatively near. Going for a       hike along the Jackson County Recreational Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; you need to stop at Cavanaugh Bottom if you're here. Sheepshead Bay is not far from Town Lake at all, and you'll stumble on a wonderful lake called Alligator Lake. Summertime highs at Town Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter                  nights at Town Lake are in the 0's. An average amount of rain falls at Town Lake; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Fin An Feather, and if you're here you can play some golf at Palisades Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful.
