Effigy Mounds National Monument is a wonderful location near Taylor Lakes, and Taylor Lakes is right by the Yellow River State Forest Trail. A delightful lake like Butler Lake near Taylor Lakes is a perfect site to go to, and Sioux Coulee is a nice spot to spend some time. Taylor Lakes is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Frenchman's Landing Campground is a brilliant local campground. Just can't get enough of Taylor Lakes. A delightful place to camp here at Taylor Lakes is Andy Mountain Campground; after a long day outdoors Brisbois Motor Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two.
