     Sunken Island Lake is a nice lake to visit. King's Pointe Waterpark Resort is a fine site to get some rest, and why not camp at Sunrise Campgrounds since you're here at Sunken Island Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Storm Lake here, and a pleasant location to camp here at Sunken Island Lake is Lakeside Marina & Campground. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Sunken Island Lake reach the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 60's.  
   The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Sunken Island Lake.
