Summit Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Green Valley State Park is a tremendous local campground, and after a long day outdoors Creston Super 8 Motel is a splendid location to spend a night or two. A brilliant close by hotel is Supertel Inn and Conference Center. There's so much to do here at Summit Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cozy Camper Campgrounds       is a great place for that, and there are other spots here than Summit Lake, for example Green Valley Lake. Summit Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Crestmoor Golf Club, and not far from Summit Lake you'll stumble on Lake McKinley which is a stunning lake. Summertime at Summit Lake comes with                  high temperatures in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
