    It's always fun to stop by Spring Pond. An average amount of precipitation falls at Spring Pond; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Burr Oak Creek flows through this area; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Washington. This lake is so wonderful. Near Spring Pond you find the Kewash Nature Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and why not camp at Morris Park Campgrounds if you're here at Spring  
   Pond.
Here at Spring Pond you'll in all probability meet some people from Iowa City, and after a long day outdoors Mt. Pleasant Super 8 Motel is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. Not far from Spring Pond, you'll come across Sunrise Lake which is a pretty lake. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Spring Pond. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Horse Shoe Lake, and
 
               the Sockum Ridge Park Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by.
Going for a hike on the Jefferson County Park Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and if you came for an overnight stay Midwest Old Threshers Campground is a fine place to camp. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Spring Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Spring Pond temperatures drop to the 10's.
