Iowa has many beautiful lakes and Spirit Lake is one of them. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Riverside Hills; while you're here you can take a hike along the Horseshoe Bend Trail. Bridges Bay Resort is a splendid place to get some rest, and there are plenty of people from Spirit Lake here at Spirit Lake.
A pleasant close by hotel is Village East Resort, and swamps don’t sound that good but McClelland Slough next to Spirit

| | Lake is quite good. At Spirit Lake all through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Spirit Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Bakers Point is not far from Spirit Lake at all; if you want to hit the beach, Maple Oak Beach is nearby.

Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and for you golfers we recommend close by Indian Hills Golf Club. Spirit Lake is a good location of common rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the
driest month is January. Don't forget to take a tremendous little visit to Loon Creek, and Spirit Lake is a great site to camp, Pioneer Beach Campground is a great site.
So much entertaining stuff to do at Spirit Lake, so little
time. A journey to McClelland Beach in the vicinity of Spirit Lake is always a great idea. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Spirit Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cenla Campground.
