Schenck Lake is a nice lake to visit. Don't forget to take a fine little tour to North Branch West Nodaway River; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Clarinda Country Club is around here. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Red Oak. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Schenck Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's.
