Saylorville Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Very good water scenery is available at Saylorville Dam right next door to Saylorville Lake, and people from Des Moines love to come here. Summertime highs at Saylorville Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout
