Good hiking is available along the Locust Lane Nature Trail, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Craigel Slough is right nearby. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Roscum Pond you can play some golf at Spirit Hollow Golf Club; if you need a spot to stay Comfort Suites Burlington is a good choice. Roscum Pond is near       Willow Bar which is definitely worth taking a look at, and do stop at Skunk River while you're here at Roscum Pond. High temperatures at Roscum Pond during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Roscum Pond are in the 10's. While you're here at Roscum Pond, you could also check out striking Round Lake, and if you came for an overnight                  stay Spring Lake Campground is a nice place to camp.
