The warmest time of the year at Robbins Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Robbins Lake fall into the 0's. Camping at Robbins Lake is tremendous fun, Hiawatha Oak Brook Court is a tremendous local campground, and why not a       little side trip to Cold Stream. You're sure to encounter some nice people from Cedar Rapids here; golf can be played at St Andrews Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Lake MacBride State Park Trail, and Best Western Cooper's Mill Hotel is a delightful location to get some rest. So much cool stuff to do here at Robbins Lake, too wonderful to be true. Robbins Lake is a great place to camp, Sandy Beach Campground is a great place.                  After a long day outdoors Days Inn and Suites Cedar Rapids is a splendid site to spend a night or two; Cedar River is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby.
