If the weather is beautiful, you get a good view of Gun Shot Hill from Provost Bay, and Tjaden Motel is a great spot to get some rest. Throughout the summer months here at Provost Bay, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Provost Bay are in the 0's.       The amount of precipitation that falls at Provost Bay is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is June while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Provost Bay is not the only place close by, Arrowhead Lake is a close by lake. Provost Bay is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Sunrise Campgrounds is a tremendous local campground, and after a long day outdoors Dee C's Dive Inn is a magnificent place                  to spend a night or two.
