Head up to Chestnut Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Pinoak Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lakewood Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Pinoak Lake is right by the River Route Nature Trail, and while you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Palisades Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Why not check out       nearby Running Slough if you're here at Pinoak Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Jackson County Recreational Trail. Pinoak Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Seven Eagles Campground and Motel is a nice place to camp nearby, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not stop at Horseshoe Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Clinton here; after a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - SAVANNA is a delightful location to spend a                  night or two. During the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Pinoak Lake while overnight lows are typically in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Pinoak Lake.
