Try Bear Creek. Lazy Acres RV Park is a fine local campground; at Mud Lake you always meet someone from Cedar Rapids. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Mud Lake with nighttime lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Mud Lake plunge into the 0's. Mud Lake is a fine place       to visit for more than one day, Hiawatha Oak Brook Court is a fine place to camp nearby, and if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Cedar Rapids is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mud Lake, you could also visit pretty Williams Lake; a great close by hotel is Days Inn and Suites Cedar Rapids. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site.
