Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites DUBUQUE EAST-GALENA is a nice spot to get some rest; let's not forget Leisure Creek which is a stream that you may encounter during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. Sundown Mountain has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff, and a great site to camp here at Mud Lake is Dubuque Yacht Basin and RV Park. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Mud Lake. If       you need a spot to stay Grand Harbor Resort & Waterpark is a great choice, and there's whitewater on Little Platte River for all you adrenaline kick people. Summertime highs at Mud Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's, and overnight lows at Mud Lake through the winter typically plunge into the 0's. O'Leary Lake is a nearby lake that you could                  have a look at; there are plenty of folks from Dubuque here.
